Baird is Vice Chair of Radiology (Research) and Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology, where he advances the integration of data science, human factors, and artificial intelligence in clinical decision-making. A quantitative psychologist and Accredited Professional Statistician™ with the American Statistical Association, he brings deep expertise in research design, analytics, and behavioral modeling.
Baird directs both the Brown Radiology Human Factors Lab and the Brown Radiology, Psychology, and Law Lab, where his work explores how AI-generated outputs influence perception and decision-making among physicians, patients, and jurors. His research bridges psychology, medicine, and data science to ensure AI technologies are developed and applied responsibly in healthcare contexts.
He also serves as a statistical consultant for the editorial boards of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Journal and the American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR).

Before joining Bryant, Dougherty spent 12 years as head of advanced analytics for Fidelity Investments’ institutional and intermediary businesses, where he directed strategy and innovation in data science.
Following his retirement from Fidelity in 2017, Dougherty transitioned to education as Practice Head for Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI at the Emeritus Institute of Management, helping professionals worldwide build critical skills in emerging technologies.

Kirsten Hokeness, Ph.D., is the Director of the School of Health and Behavioral Sciences at Bryant University, where she also serves as department chair and Pre-Health Adviser. She teaches courses in microbiology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical science, and immunity and disease, preparing students for healthcare and medical careers.
Her research explores immune suppression from microbial volatile organic compounds, immune responses during Clostridium difficile infection, and how individuals act on health information, particularly regarding vaccines. She earned her B.S. in biology from the University of New Hampshire and her Ph.D. in molecular microbiology and immunology from Brown University.
A Rhode Island native, Hokeness has also conducted cancer research at Roger Williams Hospital.

Alex Kleinman is senior vice president at Genpact, where he leads the company’s Corporate Strategy function and drives elements of the GenpactNext transformation program, including its pivot to agentic AI. Since 2018, he has held key leadership roles serving as Unit Leader for Genpact’s healthcare business and Strategy Leader for the company’s Consumer & Healthcare vertical. He also oversaw the Pharmacovigilance Signal Management SaaS business until its sale in 2022.
Recognized as a creative strategic thinker and communicator, Kleinman has built and mobilized diverse teams to accelerate transformation for Genpact and its clients. Suhong Li, Ph.D., is professor and chair of the Information Systems and Analytics department at Bryant University, where she has built a distinguished career as a scholar, teacher, and leader in data and analytics. She teaches courses in big data analytics, data visualization, and text mining.
Li has published more than 100 journal articles and conference proceedings, with her work cited over 8,000 times. Her contributions have earned national recognition, including the 2017 Computer Educator of the Year Award from the International Association of Computer Information Systems.
She earned her Ph.D. in information systems and operations management from the University of Toledo and, in 2022, completed an artificial intelligence professional certificate from Stanford Online.
